Last weekend Ellie, Mimi, myself and our friend Laurel participated in the Team Spirit Breast and Ovarian Cancer Awareness 10K walk through Belmont Shores in Long Beach. Ellie rode in the backpack and cheered us on with her pompoms. At the halfway mark they threw lei's on us and Ellie collected 8 of them. They are her treasures and she refuses to part with them...they've even been in the bathtub and she wears them while eating dinner. We have drawn the line at sleeping with them...too dangerous!
Mimi and Papa Jess gave Ellie this Radio Flyer scooter - her new favorite toy. She loves her new found freedom, roaming up and down the street and around the block. It's pretty hard to get a picture of her on it as she doesn't like to sit still!
We're getting ready for Halloween...haven't decided if Ellie is going to be a pink leopard or a lady bug. Grannie Brenda is planning on coming out for a visit at the end of October, so she'll get in on the Halloween fun this year. We can't wait!
