For Labor Day we decided to go car shopping...and learned the hard way that the best way to car shop (at least in San Diego) is to LOOK ONLINE FIRST!!! Figure out what you want, look around online and see who has it and what they're asking, THEN go to the dealerships. The craziest part is that of all the car lots we went to, only 1 sales person approached us. When did that happen? Didn't they used to be like flies?
Anyway, here are some Ellie funnies from today...
* As we got in the car to leave the last car lot today, Ellie said "Daddy, why didn't we buy a minivan? I WANTED to buy a minivan!!!" Brant says "Well, you can't just buy the first one you see" Ellie says "WHY NOT?"
* At dinner there were a bunch of funnies...
- "My soup has smoke coming out of it"
- "Why does it take so long for my birthday to come?"
And my personal favorite: "How come I don't have a TV in my room? Dinah (her imaginary friend) has a TV in her room!"
Brant and I couldn't hold it together after the TV in my room comment... we may eat these words at some point, but for now, there is NO WAY a TV is going into her room!
