On to the main event! This year we had a candy corn witch and a monkey! The candy corn witch called herself a candy corn princess witch...and she was in love with her costume. Never wanted to take it off. Luckily for her, she got to wear it to a Halloween party, to school, and for trick or treating. The monkey, on the other hand, liked his costume just fine, but wanted NOTHING to do with the monkey head. Nor did he want to sit still for any sort of picture opportunity...

and this is as good as it got for this year!
We continued our tradition of trick or treating with the Werner's...and continue to feel so fortunate to have such great friends. Ellie and Ada don't see as much of each other these days, but they always pick up right where they left off!
