Christmas Celebrations

We started our Christmas celebrations by having the Werner's over for our annual gift exchange. The girls are old enough to go and play by themselves in Ellie's room, and the boys are hilarious to watch together. They don't really play together, persay, but they play independently next to each other quite well. Between dinner, packages and dessert, we didn't manage to get a single picture. No idea how that happened... Our next Christmas celebration was at church. We went to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas - the birth of Jesus, through worshipping at the Christmas Eve service. Despite the fact that it's a famiy oriented service, Rhett and I spent most of our time in the foyer, crawling at the speed of light back and forth with the other toddlers and their parents. Good thing they broadcast the service on tv monitors out there! Afterwards we continued on with our Christmas Eve tradition of Mexican food at El Zarape, and then it was time to go to bed so Santa could come! Look at what we woke up to on Christmas morning!

After discovering what Santa brought, we let the kids open presents from the Boren side and play with their toys while we waited for Mimi, Papa and Uncle Bill to arrive. The rest of the story will be told through pictures.

Somehow there are no pictures of Brant. No idea how this happened...we'll have to rectify over the rest of the break...
