Nana's visit

A few days after we got back from Yosemite, Nana came to visit! Unfortunately for Nana she came in the midst of a construction project we have going on at the house, but she was a trooper and made the best of it. She got to keep Rhett by himself for a day, which was no small task considering there were workers in and out all day long. Over the weekend we took her shopping at the Fashion Valley Mall, she babysat while Brant and I went on a date, all leading up to her birthday! Ellie was quite excited that Nana was spending her birthday with us this year. We surprised Nana with tickets to see Wicked...Mimi even came down and joined us. It was a fantastic musical - I loved it! Brant and Rhett joined us at El Zarape for a birthday dinner, and then we headed home for cake and ice cream.

The last night that Nana was visiting we headed over to Little Italy and enjoyed dinner at Buon Appetito, followed by delicious frozen yogurt at Yogurtland!

We're always sad to see Nana go, but already have our plane tickets to visit for Thanksgiving!
