This year Brant got the whole weekend to celebrate Father's Day. Saturday morning he went to the gym, then headed over to the Estancia day spa and got a "Tension Tamer" massage before lounging in the hot tub for a while. Saturday night a bunch of the dad's from daycare got together to take Jack (the husband of the daycare provider team) to the Padres game. Brant had such a great time with these guys that he even went out after the game in the Gaslamp district! Sunday Ellie and I made Brant a gourmet breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh fruit and banana pancakes. We hung out at home and just enjoyed being together. We were all pretty tired from the fun we'd had on Saturday, so just stayed in and had homemade burgers for dinner. Brant was thrilled with his Father's Day "festivus"!
