Ellie loves to play with Ariel in the bathtub each night. She has a zillion bathtub toys, but really only wants to play with Ariel, Flounder, and the mats she can draw on. Tonight Ellie put Ariel "night night" on a raft, and wanted to cover her up with a blanket (washcloth) so she wouldn't get cold.
Since Ellie has returned from Arkansas she has been very interested in family. She explains to us daily that Nana is Daddy's Momma, and Mimi is Momma's Momma, and Uncle James is Daddy's brudder, and Uncle Bill is Momma's brudder. And Nana is her Nana but also Baby Brenner's Nana. She's not qutie sure how that works, but she knows it to be true. She says "Nana is my Nana, and she's Baby Brenner's Nana too, cuz she just is". She has been so sweet the past 2 days that it's all I can do to put her to bed. I want to keep her up and squeeze the sweetness out!
Ellie came back from Arkansas with a slight southern twang. She now says "Oh Ma-an" as if it's 2 syllables. It is the cutest thing I've ever heard.
