A visit from Arkansas

Granny, Pappy, Aunt Dana and Nana came to visit again...and what a great time we had. I wish we had more pictures...am hoping that Dana will send us some as she took a lot. I guess we were too busy chasing kids and having fun to take more than we did.


We all went to Old Town where we spent the afternoon looking at trinkets and buying treats in the candy store!


Ellie was so excited to have a birthday for Nana - we've never gotten to do that before! She helped choose and wrap the presents, and of course she helped bake and decorate the cake.


Ellie and Pappy played - one of Ellie's fondest memories of the times she sees Granny and Pappy is playing "baby" or "sleep" with Pappy. I think she's a very lucky girl to have a great grandfather period, but also to have one that plays with her? Outstanding!


We sure enjoyed the visit and look forward to seeing everyone in Arkansas at Thanksgiving! We've already bought our tickets!
