Back to the grind...

Wow - what a slap in the face to be back to work this week instead of home relaxing with the family. But since "vacation" is called just that - "vacation" - by nature of the word that must end and we must get back to reality. Not that reality is bad, but it's just not as nice as vacation...
Ellie was excited to get back to Jack and Cheryl's and play with the kids. We know we're lucky to have found such caring daycare providers, but the real bonus is that Ellie likes to go there and loves the other kids. She's now one of the oldest - I think there are 2 kids older than her, but not to worry - she busies herself with bossing the younger ones around. We're going to have to work on that bossing business.

These footie jammies are from Nana...ironically Ellie refused to wear them when Nana was visiting, but after she left we told Ellie that Nana wanted a picture of Ellie in the heart footie jammies and viola! that's just what we got. I wish they made footie jammies for adults...
Not too much new this week. We're all struggling to get back into the groove. Ellie's swim lessons start up again tonight. She LOVES them, and yes - it's an indoor pool so the "wintery weather" here in San Diego doesn't affect their swimming. Here are a couple more pictures from last weekend when we took a long walk and wound up at a new playground.
Oh - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO PAPA! We won't reveal his age, but just know that he's another year wiser today!
