Today Brant, Nana and Ellie went to the playground at Mission Beach while I had an appointment to go to...Ellie played so hard and had such a great time on the slide and other playground toys!
Tonight we all went to Old Town and tried out a new restaurant (a very wild thing for us to do - we normally go to the same 2 or 3 restaurants because we LOVE them!). We tried the Coyote Cafe and it was delicious. It's a chilly night here in San Diego, and really foggy too, but after dinner we ventured across the street and got really wild - we got Cold Stone ice cream! It was pretty silly...we were standing out on the street, shivering and enjoying our ice cream. Thankfully Brant finished his first and went to get the car so we could finish our treats and then get into a warm car! Ellie had a blast - she's at such a fun age right now.
Here's a little funny bit that Ellie proclaimed tonight...we were in the car on the way to dinner and Ellie told Nana "Daddy is crazy and Momma is cranky." That's it - totally matter of fact. Then later she said "What the heck?!" Apparently Brant and I are going to have to watch what we're saying in front of her. And by the way, Daddy IS crazy, but Momma IS NOT cranky...at least not tonight!
