There is a new bribe in the Boren house...the book light. When Nana comes to visit, she brings her own book light so she can read after Ellie goes to sleep (Ellie insists that Nana sleeps with her...don't know how much longer that's going to last!). Just the other day I found our book light, and Ellie was super excited. In fact, I found it during one of her meltdowns, and she immediately shut off the tears and whining and wanted to know if she could use our book light that night. I find that both frustrating and encouraging...that she can shut off a melt down mid-scream if she wants to...

Friday night we had more free tickets to the Padres game - thank you Senomyx! They are fantastic seats and we love getting them as it's a free night out for all of us!
This afternoon we celebrated Uncle Bill's 30th Birthday with Mimi, Papa, Renee and the birthday boy at Pizza Port...YUM! We didn't get many pictures, but here's one of Ellie "playing" a video game (notice it says INSERT COIN...but she has no idea...)
