Where is the summer going?

Oh my goodness - the time has flown by since my last post. Seems as though the summer is on fast forward, and the opportunity to sit down at a computer with enough time to download pictures and blog hasn't presented itself. Let's try and catch up, shall we? Last month my cousin, Danny, and his wife Katherine came to visit. They are active duty service men/women in the Army, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, and recently arrived stateside after a tour in Iraq. This is the first time any of us met Katherine...they got married last July and deployed shortly after. She couldn't be sweeter - we just love her, and are thrilled she's a part of the family! Can't wait for their next visit!

Unfortunately those seem like the only decent pictures we got. There are quite a few with someone's eyes closed, someone's head turned the wrong way (no names mentioned, but he's the shortest family member by several feet!), or blurry because that same someone wasn't happy about being still. That's ok - we've got the memories!
