Week at home

It's that time again...time for Momma to stay home with the kiddo's for a week while Jack and Cheryl take a much needed and well deserved break. We started it off with a trip to the playground...



Rhett and Ellie both had a great time, despite the heat. We had a little heat wave last weekend and early this week...I was bracing for the idea of being at home without AC (yet!) but lucky for us, the heat wave passed and we're back to normal hovering in the high 70's. Sunday evening we went on a surprise outing - Chiptole, Old Navy, and Yogurtland! Ellie's first time at Yogurtland, and it was a big hit.

We spent Monday at the pool, where Ellie got to play with Evie, Addy and Clara. She had a great time. I have to say she was a good sport about having to leave early too...Rhett needed to get out of the sun and home for a nap and even though Ellie was sad, she did a great job of hanging tough. We've been working on this... :)
