Look at this adorable soccer player! She's just as cute as can be, and did such a great job in her first soccer game. She even scored a goal - for the right team! I say that in jest, but anyone who has ever watched a pee wee soccer game knows that it's not uncommon for the kids to A) take the ball away from their own teammates, B) run the wrong way on the field, C) pick the ball up with their hands or D) score a goal for the wrong team.
oranges for half time!Next week we'll try to get a better video of her playing...this week we were too excited watching and cheering. When Ellie scored the goal, I thought Brant was going to hoist her up on his shoulders and start singing "We Are the Champions" - he was so excited! When asked later, he said that although he wouldn't have believed this to be possible, that Ellie's goal was "way more exciting than a Razorback touchdown" - now that, folks, is Daddy love.
