19 months of fun
Quick update on Rhett... At 19 months he says: Mama? MAMA!!! Da! Daddy? Daisy, El-yee(Ellie), shoos(shoes), OK!!!, no, yes, all doooo(all done), yack(Jack), Cheryoo(Cheryl), Joe(one of the dogs at daycare), lezgo(let's go), mine, kik-oo(thank you), peece(please), yocks(socks), uh-oh, baby, ball, yog(dog). He can make the barking sound, in fact, all animals make the barking sound. Except cows - they say "ooooooooooooo". Not moo, just ooo. He loves to point to babies and will even take his pacifier out to say baby. Don't get any wild ideas - he keeps that pacifier in his hand, he's not letting you take it away!
It is so much fun to have a conversation with him. He jabbers constantly and we are able to decipher more and more words daily. Saying Jack and Cheryl is new - I didn't notice that until yesterday. He understands so much of what we say to him...Rhett? Let's go get ready for swim lessons. Want to? YES!!! and then he runs to his bedroom door and tries to open it (can't yet). Doors must be closed if I don't want his entire wardrobe brought into the living room. He loves to bring anything he can reach out to show us.
He wants to do everything Ellie does. He tries, he's little, he wrecks whatever she's got going on, she gets annoyed, she yells...I try only to intervene when things are getting out of control, but that's a hard call to make sometimes. And other times, I just can't handle hearing all that noise!
