Yesterday morning we all went to Coronado Island. Brant and Daisy went to the beach where Daisy fetched the ball relentlessly in the waves, and Ellie and I went for a run with the jogging stroller around the outer edge of the island. It's such a nice place to run or walk because there's no traffic on these paths. After our run, we went to the playground where Brant met us. Ellie LOVES the playground! She was running around and chasing all the kids twice her size! She wasn't interested in the swings this time at all, instead wanting to climb the stairs to the highest slide, slide down saying "weeeeeeeeee!" and then repeat over and over again. As promised, here are the pictures from Ellie's visit to Mimi and Papa's last weekend. Looks like she had a great time!
This past week Ellie has been enjoying her rain coat - even though it wasn't raining. She loves to get ready for "school", put her coat on and then leave with Daddy. Here are some cute pictures of Brant and Ellie heading for daycare.
Today is a lazy, rainy day in San Diego. It's noon and we are all still in our pj's...not that I'm complaining...we've needed a weekend like this after the past two very busy weekends. Ellie and I are about to lay down for a nap before the Superbowl and then we'll have a nice quiet evening and head to bed early.
