3 parties - 1 weekend

This weekend started off with a bang - Amelia turned 4! The girls have been at daycare together for years, and Amelia just became a big sister too. There was a magician, and a tattoo artist who doubled as a balloon animal artist later in the party. Such fun! Plus, they served delicious homemade chili and the cake was to die for. Banana coconut cake with cream cheese icing. So good!

Saturday was Lilly's birthday party...a Hawaiian luau! Ellie loved the grass skirt and lei's. Here she is waiting for her turn to hit the pinata!

Sunday morning Brant washed cars, and as you can see, he had his best helper with him. Here is the Bear Family, all buckled into the truck!



There was yet a third birthday party this weekend...a friend of Brant's son was turning 1. Rhett and I took a pass and stayed home to get a few things done and rest...but Brant and Ellie headed up to the party and had a great time. No pictures, but oh my word - Ellie came home with enough candy for an entire neighborhood. And 3 whistles. She came home with not 1, not 2, but 3 WHISTLES. I have a feeling they may turn up missing soon...
